Not only does a nutrition coach act as a knowledgeable guide through information, resources, and facts about nutrition, but they also help clients apply the information to their lives and health situations. Each client, their health status, and their goals are unique, and a nutrition coach can tailor nutrition plans to meet their individual needs. A nutrition coach also helps the client apply the information to their lives in a way that is practical, safe, and easy to follow. What is required is not simply changing eating habits but rather modifying behavior, and this is often overlooked when attempting to achieve nutrition goals. This may include the way individuals think about food, the function of food in their lives, their attitudes toward specific types of food, and their relationships with food in general.

Maybe you have a scientifically sound exercise and meal plan that is not the right fit for you. Daniel can help you learn about your genetic disposition through DNA testing and can build programming specifically tailored to you. Together, we can check if your body is resistant to losing weight, how well your body can process carbohydrates in your diet, how much body fat you can lose through cardio exercise, how well your body can effectively absorb folate (a B-complex vitamin), how sensitive your body is to the amount of fat in your diet, how your body responds to strength training, and how sensitive your body is to the amount of protein in your diet. Your lab samples are sent to a lab that CLIA-compliant and CAP-certified, and your results are HIPAA-compliant and protected under GINA. This overall picture will enable you to better identify your health and fitness goals, co-create your individualized program for exercise and nutrition, and modify the variables until success is the only option.
